Jeffery is in his fourth year at The Juilliard School and will carry on his interests in teaching alongside performing. He began his training in classical ballet and modern as a freshman at Pebblebrook High School for the Performing Arts. He attended his fist summer intensive at the Dance Theatre of Harlem in 2009 and has since trained at Atlanta Ballet, Ballet Academy East, The School of American Ballet, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. He has had the opportunity to perform new works and repertoire by renowned choreographers such as Eliot Feld, William Forsythe, José Limón, Ohad Naharin, Monica Bill Barnes, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Larry Keigwin and Paul Taylor. Apart from school, Jeffery has also performed with the Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, at The 2013 Assemblée Internationale at Canada’s National Ballet School, Sylvie Guillem’s “6000 miles away” performance at Lincoln Center, Springboard Danse Montreal, and most recently the 2014 Chicago Dancing Festival. By sharing his experiences through movement, Jeffery hopes to continue to eliminate boundaries between dancer and onlooker, broadening the scope of dance.
